The Institute is pursuing a formal partnership with IPOA, Kenya’s civilian oversight body for the National Police Service. This collaboration will create opportunities for applied research in police accountability, structured student attachments, and joint policy engagements.
- Kenya National Police Service.
The Department of Criminology and Security Management Signed MoU with Kenya National Police Service. This provides an avenue for the NPS to work closely with the Department in training and building capacity within the Service. The Mou provides for scholarships and other benefits to the NPS. - Korean National Police University.
The Department through the University Vice Chancellor drafted an exchange programme with the Korean National Police to facilitate various trainings and conferences whereby, various experts from Korea attend and train our students on various skills. Vice-Chancellor DeKUT and the president Korea National Police University during the signing of the MOU.
- Humanitarian Peace Support School.
The school offers practicals and demonstration on explosives training, anti-terrorism drills and weapon intelligence.
